This place is a real treat from the minute you walk in. The service is impeccable! For food we had: heirloom tomato and burrata, blue crab beignets, short rib boudin, crispy Brussel sprouts, and the lobster and black garlic linguini. Everything was savory, cooked to perfection, and delicious! For cocktails we tried the traditional old fashion, future ball, and charred citrus old fashion. The ambiance is a modern speakeasy feel with an intimate setting in the dining area. We sat by the bar and still felt very private. This will be a staple during every New Orleans trip.

I rank this restaurant in my over top 10 list of all restaurants I have visited! Service and food quality and presentation are extraordinary! The Elk was amazing, the drinks amazing. The death by gumbo was a great presentation and also very good. It's a must try restaurant in New Orleans!

From the warm greeting at the door to the final farewell when I left, the people that make up Restaurant R'evolution took care of my absolute every need and served up a delicious, unforgettable meal with kindness, professionalism and style. To cross off one last dish on my New Orleans checklist, I ordered Death by Gumbo, paired with their Sangiovese by the glass. Before I could savor the succulent quail, swimming in the richest, darkest roux, I was offered a beautiful, "amusing" bouce and some truly outstanding biscuits, bread and butters that could have made a meal for me all their own. Jeff and Dashaun were so accommodating and generous with my service, taken at the chef's table in full view of the kitchen, where K'neesia (apologies, for any spelling errors) did the work of four, quietly and amazingly doing so much important work to keep orders flowing smoothly to their guests. The gumbo was incredible, filling, and luxurious and satisfied my craving completely, living up to its reputation. While I narrowly missed my desired choice for dessert, the sorbet and praline I was served were an exquisite end to my experience. If ever I am in the French Quarter again, I think I'll not leave without dining here again.

At the recommendation of a local bar tender on bourbon street we canceled our reservation at an "institution" and ran to restaurant R'evolution to grab two last seats they had for the night. Thankfully got there early around 5:30. Service was 5 out of 5. Super friendly and welcoming. Provided fine dining service with southern hospitality and a sprinkle of NoLa charm. Atmosphere 5 out of 5. Loved the multiple options for dinning- either a 2 to 6 top, all the way up to family style. And even saw a private dining room for a large group. We got to sit at the bar in front of the kitchen and was an added special addition. Got to see the inner workings of the restaurant while we enjoyed ourselves. Food 5out of 5. in the top 20 best meals I've ever had. Honestly nothing we ordered tonight is not something would not re-order again. We did a bunch of smaller appetizer, salad, starters and then shared two small main courses. We did not go for the larger beef selection. We're able to accommodate our dairy allergy and also keep the integrity of all of the dishes perfectly. The duck gumbo is out of this world - that broth was amazing. And the duck entrée was also absolutely delicious. The biscuits and dinner rolls are out of this world amazing. I requested a second serving they were so good. For anyone coming to town that needs a elevated environment, but yet not pretentious. This is a great spot. Has a local feel to it. Seems like there were a number of locals, grabbing a bite at the bar. Overall, a great option and would never have found it if it wasn't for the recommendation of getting to speak to one of the bartenders up the block.

This place is definitely all about the experience. Came for a combo birthday & anniversary dinner so wanted to do something special and this place delivered. We ordered a cocktail each followed by a bottle of wine. They had a lot of wine options but they did at least have ones within a decent price range. Cocktails were also super good. Liked that they brought out a little small bite appetizer and dessert for patrons even though we did also order one of each ourselves. For mains we got the rack of elk and the veal. Neither of us loved them but they were ok. Sides, appetizer and desserts were great! The "apple pie" dessert had an amazing presentation served in a candy shell in the shape of an apple. Would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a really nice dinner. Great service as well!!

Deshawn, Tina and Hannah - dynamic trio! Amazing service from them on Friday night. First time dining here and they made it perfect for us. Unassuming place as there's one small door into the check in desk and bar area. But your dining room is thru another set of doors and it's a pretty big place. Restaurant is nice and clean. Bathroom is quite clean as well. Love that they have a few booths only for those celebrating a special occasion. Presentation on the food, on point. Each dish comes out so pretty, color and smell. Food was good overall. Nothing stood out but it was all good. We ordered a variety and all were good and enjoyable. Would recommend.

OMG WOW!!! 100000% Looking for a great food experience that is in the French Quarter, and not too touristy or overpriced Restaurant Revolution is amazing!!!! I think this was by far my favorite meal that we had visiting New Orleans. The restaurant is set in the heart of the French quarter but you would have no idea walking in with a nice amazing place it is. It is not a tourist trap. The Bar area is a great spot to get drinks before dinner or just pop in and have a casual drink. There is a nice craft cocktails list.. The restaurant is 100% first class. From the way, the staff treats you to the fun funky music they are playing. Every course was just as great as the one prior, leaving me, want to come back forget another dinner. Chef John deserves a STAR for his creations. If you're looking for a special occasion place, I would highly recommend in going here versus any other place in the area (100% beats Commanders Palace any day of the week).
